… when Westly keeps making such fantastic mods? Just yesterday I finished Tribunal and got my hands on his Mother of Mercy and Mother of Madness sets from his Oh! My Goddess! Almalexia Replacer mod, and then he releases his Assassin’s Creed armor today. It seems as though most of my time in-game lately has been spent doing what needs to be done to obtain his fabulous creations, or shopping for his fabulous creations.
At least Tribunal is finished though, now I must conquer Solstheim. If I have time between shopping trips, that is.

Silt Strider mod… – Bethesda Game Studios Forums.
As impressed as I am about getting the technical aspects of a mod like this to work, I’m still horrified by the idea of riding around in a giant bug and wouldn’t download this for a million dollars. (Okay, maybe for a million.
) After playing Morrowind for six years, I still want to get a giant shoe and smash the silt striders.
And that’s why I use Improved Teleportation.
I just started playing with Princess Stomper’s new Calvus and Rerlas companions. Actually, I haven’t tried the Rerlas additions yet. If I use an animal companion I have a tendency to stick with Grumpy’s Spot Companion.
I’ve actually never used either the vanilla version of Calvus or any other upgrades, but her version convinced me it was time to try him out. There have been so many great companion mods, that paying a mercenary wasn’t high on my list. Instead of just improving his scripting though, Princess had given him quite a bit of dialogue and an nicely filled-out backstory. He’s only been “hired” for about two in-game days, so I’ll see what continuing to use him brings, but so far he’s a nice surprise. But the same can be said for all of Princess’ mods.

Follow the steps in Morrowind 2009 for the technical aspects of installation, as in updating graphics card settings and installation and use of MGE.
Installation:
- Install Morrowind -> Tribunal -> Bloodmoon. If you aren’t up to the 1.6.1820 version (check the bottom left corner of the loading screen) then download and install the official Bloodmoon patch.
- Once you’re sure the game is up-to-date, download and install the Morrowind Code Patch and the Morrowind Patch Project.
- Install MCP, tick MPP in the load screen, and then make sure the game launches without trouble. Everything after this is basically just aesthetics.
- Download and install Morrowind Graphics Extender. This is not recommended for low-end machines, and is not recommended for computer novices. It can be used to increase graphics settings as well as extend the view distance significantly. (more…)
